Shae M. Musselman is a writer, bookseller, and perpetual risk-taker. Whether she is doing something as simple as reading her work aloud or as drastic as joining a circus (yes, a literal circus), she's always chosen to take the leap rather than wonder if she should've. Although her days of physically flying through the air are behind her, Shae still loves to be swept off her feet by stories, and many of the experiences she's had work their way into the ones she writes.
Before she began her writing journey, Shae earned two degrees from Florida State University in Psychology and Interior Design, and even published work in academic journals before switching to fiction. Now, she is currently in the depths of revising her debut Adult Romantasy novel in addition to drafting a new Contemporary Romance, both of which she hopes to traditionally publish over the next few years. In the meantime, she is incredibly happy working as a bookseller for Charlotte's own romance-only book store, Trope Bookshop, as well as walking dogs for Skiptown as an outlet for her deep love for animals.
When she's not obsessing over fictional men or her own irresistibly cute dog, you can usually find her hanging around with her fellow circus-freak husband, practicing yoga, or playing D&D until way past her bedtime.
